The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) Public Safety Committee is responding to frequently asked questions (FAQs) to help sleep clinicians and accredited sleep facilities address the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). As much as possible, the AASM also will attempt to address questions of specific relevance to the impact of COVID-19 on the practice of sleep medicine. However, much of the information about COVID-19 that is needed to guide clinical decision-making is still emerging. We will make frequent updates to the page in response to new questions and information.
